“Trinity Blood on the Sands” is broken up into 3 stories which depict the characters of The Darkness, Witchblade and Angelus in the Arabian Desert during the 14th century.

Each story is connected to some degree with one another primarily focusing on The Darkness “Diyafa.” Though I don’t have an in-depth knowledge of these characters, I found this book to be pretty enjoyable an interesting. The art and colors throughout the book are very well done which isn’t terribly surprising from a Top Cow title.

If you are fairly new to the Top Cow Universe then this book might be the perfect title to pick up and try out as you don’t really need know a lot about the characters histories to understand what is going on.
