Hulk #16
I can’t say I liked the idea of a Red She-Hulk when I read the original solicitations for Hulk #16, but after reading this issue I must admit that writer Jeph Loeb has done a great job of peaking my interest in this character. Loeb also continues to do a good job developing the Red Hulk into a very interesting character as we find things aren’t going quite so smoothly these days. I also continue to be impressed with artist Ian Churchill’s work on this book. He does a great job of drawing the Hulks in my opinion, making them look… well hulking. There is a nice full-page panel where Wolverine and the new Red She-Hulk are fighting that really jumps off the page at you and does a good job depicting Wolverine’s berserker rage. I’m not sure just how long the writer can drag out this whole secret identity of the Red Hulks thing, but so far this title has kept me wanting to come back for more. I recommend any fan of the Hulk check out this latest issue. Writer: Jeph Loeb Pencils: Ian Churchill Publisher: Marvel Comics Cover Price: $3.99 On Sale: Now More Marvel Reviews
